Bhopal, being located in central India, experiences a humid subtropical climate. The city has three primary seasons:

1. Summer (March to June): Summers in Bhopal are generally hot and dry, with temperatures ranging from 30°C to 45°C (86°F to 113°F). May and June are the hottest months, with scorching temperatures and dry heat.

2. Monsoon (July to September): Bhopal receives the majority of its rainfall during the monsoon season. The monsoon brings relief from the summer heat, but it also results in occasional heavy showers and thunderstorms. The average rainfall during this period is around 1,000 mm (40 inches).

3. Winter (October to February): Winters in Bhopal are relatively mild and pleasant. Temperatures usually range from 10°C to 25°C (50°F to 77°F). December and January are the coldest months, but the temperatures rarely drop below 5°C (41°F).

Bhopal's climate is influenced by its central location in India and its proximity to the Vindhya and Satpura mountain ranges. It is advisable to check a reliable weather website or app for the most up-to-date weather information before planning your visit to Bhopal.
